A car dealer selling second-hand vehicles in Eskişehir traded his Lada car, worth approximately 100,000 lira, for 100 kilograms of beef sucuk. While the sucuk, whose price per kilogram ranges between 800 and 2,000 lira, was brought to the gallery, the car was washed and cleaned and delivered to its new owner. The parties stated that they were satisfied with the exchange.
Fatih, an auto gallery operator doing business at the Eskişehir Galericiler Site, put his white Lada brand car with license plate 26 AHP 589, which had rust spots on its bodywork, up for sale. However, the sale of the vehicle took place through an unusual method.
HE TRADED HIS CAR FOR 100 KILOGRAMS OF SUCUK
Gallery owner Fatih, who met with Yusuf, a sucuk manufacturer in the city, accepted the offer of sucuk instead of cash in exchange for the car.
The parties agreed on 100 kilograms of beef sucuk with a market value of approximately 100 thousand lira. The sucuks, whose kilogram prices ranged from 800 lira to 2 thousand lira, were lined up on the tables in the gallery shop.
After the agreement, the white Lada brand car was washed and cleaned and delivered to its new owner.

Describing the transaction they carried out, sucuk producer Yusuf noted that the products were their own manufacture and said, "We are exchanging for sucuk. Beef sucuk, our own production. 100 percent beef sucuk. Today's trade was a Lada swap for sucuk."
THEY HAD MADE SIMILAR SWAPS BEFORE
Gallery owner Fatih, who transferred his car worth approximately 100 thousand lira in exchange for 100 kilograms of sucuk, said that they had carried out similar swaps before as well.
Stating that he was satisfied with the transaction, the gallery owner made a different kind of trade by selling his car in exchange for sucuk.
