The sixth day of the war between Israel and Iran began with mutual attacks. The Iranian army destroyed the Hermes 900 model drone, which Israel had deployed but never used, with 8 missiles. Footage from the region showed the drone, equipped with highly advanced weapons, reduced to wreckage. Israel announced that it had launched airstrikes on the Tehran area with more than 50 aircraft.

The war that began with Israel's "Rising Lion" attack on June 13 and Iran's retaliation named "True Promise" has entered its 6th day.

THE TOLL IS INCREASING EVERY HOUR

At least 224 people, including high-ranking military officials such as Iranian Chief of General Staff Bakiri and Commander of the Revolutionary Guards Selami, have died in Israel's attacks. In retaliation, Iran targeted Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa with hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles, in addition to drones (UAVs). On the 6th day of the war, the Iranian army, which launched strong attacks against Israel, destroyed a Hermes 900 model UAV that was deployed but never used, by hitting it with 8 missiles. IRIB News reported that an Israeli Hermes 900 missile was shot down. The correspondent of the Iranian news agency at the scene stated: "This is one of the areas east of Isfahan. Around 5:00 AM this morning, the honorable air defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army destroyed and shot down a highly advanced Hermes drone. This UAV was equipped with weapons for targeting, but it didn't even have the chance to fire at its targets. This shows that our air defense forces are fully prepared and have neutralized this UAV."

SHOT DOWN WITH 8 MISSILES

The news agency added, "The Hermes 900 model was targeted and shot down with 8 advanced missiles in the east of Isfahan." The Hermes 900 is a multi-purpose and long-range unmanned aerial vehicle designed for medium-altitude tactical missions by the Israel-based Elbit Systems company.

"AN ISRAELI F-35 WAS SHOT DOWN IN TEHRAN"

Hosseini Abbasi, the district governor of Varamin, south of Iran's capital Tehran, stated that an Israeli F-35 fighter jet was shot down. There has been no definitive confirmation or photo regarding Abbasi's statements yet. Abbasi mentioned that security forces have launched an investigation into the incident but did not provide information about the pilot of the downed aircraft.

ISRAELI ARMY: WE TARGETED WITH 50 JETS

In a statement from the Israeli army, it was said, "More than 50 Israeli fighter jets launched a series of airstrikes on the Tehran region within a few hours." The statement claimed that numerous weapons production facilities in Iran were also targeted.

MISSILES FELL ON JERUSALEM AND TEL AVIV

Some of the dozens of missiles fired from Iran surpassed Israel's air defense systems. In a report by the Israeli army radio, it was stated that some reports indicated that several missiles belonging to Iran had fallen on Israel. While the army radio did not specify the locations where the missiles fell, Israel Hayom newspaper reported that at least two missiles had fallen in Jerusalem and the Sharon area near Tel Aviv, according to initial assessments.

In a report by Channel 12, it was stated that damage occurred in a building in central Israel due to Iran's missile attacks, and firefighting teams intervened in 20 vehicles that caught fire. The report noted that missile fragments fell on a building in the northern region, and numerous fires broke out in open areas due to the falling Iranian missiles or fragments.

ISRAEL ATTACKED IMAM HUSSEIN UNIVERSITY

Israeli forces launched an attack on Imam Hussein University, located in the northeastern part of Tehran. Smoke was seen rising from the area following the attack on Imam Hussein University, which is affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, near the Hakimiye neighborhood in northeastern Tehran.

As mutual attacks continued, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards later announced, "Our Fettah missiles have gained full control over Israeli airspace by surpassing enemy defenses."

Adraee called on those in the 18th district of Tehran to leave the area, announcing that they would attack the infrastructure of the Iranian administration.

Later, Trump spoke on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. White House officials confirmed the Trump-Netanyahu meeting following a national security meeting.
