Iranian media reported that another warplane, allegedly belonging to the US-Israel, has been shot down. The detail of the single-engine exhaust in the wreckage images shared by the Tasnim News Agency strengthened the possibility that the aircraft could be an F-16.

The semi-official Tasnim News Agency of Iran announced that an "enemy fighter jet" was shot down in the country's airspace. The agency shared images of debris that were claimed to belong to the downed aircraft with the public.
