In the war between the US-Israel and Iran, not only military infrastructures are targeted but also economic infrastructures. Following the oil depots, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that a bank branch was bombed while it was full of employees, stating, "Our armed forces will take revenge for the attacks on our national infrastructure."
The Iran War, which began with the attack of the US and Israel on Iran, has entered its 13th day. In the war, not only military points but also economic infrastructure is being targeted.
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a statement regarding the Iranian bank targeted by Israel and the US on the social media platform of the US-based X company.
VOWED REVENGE
Araghchi stated, "A branch of one of our oldest banks (Bank Sepah) was bombed while it was full of employees." He expressed, "Our armed forces will take revenge for the attacks on our national infrastructure."
THE BANK ALSO MADE A STATEMENT
In a statement made by Iran's Sepah Bank, it was stated, "One of the buildings of Bank Sepah was targeted by the Israel-US missile attack early Wednesday morning." The statement noted that technical teams had begun damage assessment work after the attack.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed.
According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured has surpassed 17,000. In Iran's retaliations, so far, 7 US soldiers and 13 Israelis have lost their lives.
