'NUCLEAR WEAPON' THREAT
Velayati stated that Trump implicitly threatened Iran with nuclear weapons, "by believing the lies the Pentagon has put forward about military losses." Arguing that they "defeated the US in war," Velayati demanded that the US not think about emerging victorious in the diplomatic process.
TRUMP'S CHINA VISIT: TRADE AND INVESTMENT DEALS ON THE AGENDA
US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to meet for a critical summit in Beijing this week. It was reported that the two leaders' talks will cover Iran, Taiwan, artificial intelligence, nuclear weapons, and trade wars.
Trump is scheduled to travel to Beijing on Wednesday, with the meetings planned for Thursday and Friday. This visit will be Trump's first to China since 2017.
US officials announced that the talks will address new mechanisms to facilitate mutual trade and investment.

The Iran war will also be a significant topic in the meeting between Trump and Xi. It was stated that the US administration wants China to use its influence over Iran to force Tehran into an agreement with Washington.

It was reported that Xi Jinping has expressed anger toward the Washington administration over the Taiwan issue. Tensions between the two countries continue due to US military support for Taiwan.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND NUCLEAR CONCERNS
It was noted that the parties are considering establishing a communication channel on advanced artificial intelligence systems.
The US administration also wants to discuss nuclear weapons with China, but it was stated that Beijing is not currently open to arms control negotiations.
Trump and Xi Jinping last met in South Korea last year, where they agreed to pause the trade war.
