Following Israel's approval, a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in Gaza will come into effect tomorrow at 09:30. Israel has also published the list of 735 individuals who will be released as part of the three-phase agreement that includes the prisoner exchange. Among those to be released is Zakaria Zubeidi, a former commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades affiliated with Fatah in Jenin.

A LIST OF 735 PEOPLE HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas begins tomorrow at 08:30 local time. As part of the three-phase agreement that includes prisoner exchange, the Israeli Ministry of Justice has published the list of 735 individuals who will be released, as approved by the government.

THE LIST INCLUDES ZAKARIA ZUBEIDI

According to a report by the Jerusalem Post, among those to be released is Zakaria Zubeidi, a former commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades affiliated with Fatah in Jenin. Zubeidi was one of the prisoners involved in the 2021 Gilboa Prison escape.

Another individual to be released is Mahmoud Atallah, who was sentenced to life in prison for murdering a Palestinian woman accused of collaborating with Israel, as well as an additional 15 years in prison. Among the other names is Ahmed Barguti, a close aide to Marwan Barghouti, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment 13 times. Along with Barguti, Ahmed was arrested in Ramallah in 2002 and was responsible for supplying weapons to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, the military wing of Fatah, and served as the operational commander of these brigades.

THE LIST ALSO INCLUDES HAMAS MEMBERS

Members of Hamas's Silwan Cell, Wael Qassem and Wisam Abbasi, are also among those to be released. Qassem and Abbasi are held responsible for attacks that resulted in the deaths of dozens of people, including bombings at Café Moment in Jerusalem, Sheffield Club in Rishon Lezion, and Frank Sinatra Cafeteria at the Hebrew University in the early 2000s.

The report also included a statement from the Ministry of Justice indicating that the first group of prisoners will not be released before 16:00 local time tomorrow.

THE AGREEMENT WILL COME INTO EFFECT TOMORROW

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Majed al-Ensari, announced that the ceasefire will begin tomorrow (January 19, Sunday) at 08:30 local time. Al-Ensari stated, "We advise the people of the region to be cautious, exercise maximum care, and await instructions from official sources."
