'I TRIED HARD BUT COULDN'T KEEP HIM ALIVE'
Aras's funeral was brought to Tarsus City Cemetery for his final journey. Ayşegül Çelik, who was in tears here, cried out, "I tried hard but couldn't keep him alive." The grieving father, Alparslan Çelik, also said, "Aras had many who loved him. Millions embraced him as their own child. I don't have much to say, my heart is burning. God has taken him to the best place, His paradise. I hope we meet in paradise. He suffered a lot, fought many battles. In the end, an infection had taken over his body, he couldn't cope, it was his last battle. May he rest in peace, run, and play. He had overcome it a few times, but in the end, he couldn't succeed." Aras Çelik's funeral was buried after the prayer was performed.
