The Israeli army called on residents of approximately 50 villages and towns in southern Lebanon to immediately evacuate their homes through voice messages sent from fake numbers before planned attacks on Hezbollah targets.

As tensions rise in the Middle East, the Israeli army issued a notable warning for numerous settlements in southern Lebanon. Israeli forces sent voice messages calling for the evacuation of about 50 villages and towns ahead of planned attacks on Hezbollah targets.

PHONES RANG AT THE SAME TIME

The messages requested the immediate evacuation of the settlements, citing the safety of civilians in the area. The message, reportedly sent from a fake number, stated, "Emergency warning: Lebanese residents, citizens in the listed villages and towns. For your safety, leave your homes immediately. An operation will be conducted against Hezbollah targets, civilians should not be harmed."

It is known that the Israeli army has previously used similar phone messages and brochures to warn civilians ahead of operations in Gaza and Lebanon. However, the broad scope of the latest warning has been interpreted as preparation for a new wave of attacks in the region. Experts indicate that Hezbollah's presence in southern Lebanon is one of the primary targets for Israel. Possible operations in the area are assessed to potentially further escalate tensions between Israel and Hezbollah.
