The Istanbul Provincial Health Director announced that 767 people applied to hospitals due to injuries related to sacrificial slaughter on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
İstanbul Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Emre Güner announced via his social media account that 767 people were injured due to sacrificial slaughter and applied to hospitals.
767 AMATEUR BUTCHERS INJURED
In a statement on his social media account regarding the issue, Güner said, "On the first day of the Feast of Sacrifice, 767 of our citizens applied to our health institutions due to injuries related to sacrificial slaughter across Istanbul. The majority of our citizens were treated on an outpatient basis and discharged, and our health teams are on duty uninterruptedly throughout the holiday. I thank all our healthcare workers who selflessly worked during the holiday, and I convey my best wishes to our injured citizens."
