The interest of MİT President İbrahim Kalın in photography was once again reflected through the lens with an Istanbul view. Leica Turkey shared the black-and-white Istanbul frame taken by Kalın on its official account. In the photograph, the Bosphorus, the Bosphorus Bridge, and the Princes' Islands appear in the same frame, while Leica Turkey described the shot as 'a city story.'

In the post made by Leica Turkey on August 23, a black-and-white image of Istanbul taken from a high point through Kalin's lens was included. The photograph shows the waters of the Bosphorus, the July 15 Martyrs' Bridge, and the silhouette of the Princes' Islands in the distant background.
Leica Turkey, while introducing the photograph, emphasized the waters of the Bosphorus, the bridge connecting two continents, and the silhouette of the islands.
SHOT WITH LEICA SL2
The post stated that the photograph was taken with a Leica SL2. Leica Turkey noted that the camera's wide dynamic range distinctly reflected the clouds in the sky and the details in the Istanbul landscape.
The company described Kalin's photograph with the words, "This is not just a photograph, but a story of a city."
KALIN'S INTEREST IN PHOTOGRAPHY
Ibrahim Kalin's interest in photography was already known. With Leica Turkey's post, Kalin's black-and-white work on Istanbul also found a place on the brand's official account.
In the photograph, Istanbul's dense urban fabric, the Bosphorus line, and the silhouette of the islands are seen from a wide perspective, while the black-and-white choice highlights the light and shadow transitions in the scenery.
