The incident occurred around 19:30 on Yeni Evler 3rd Street, Reşadiye Neighborhood. The argument between the two feuding neighbor families quickly turned into a brawl. During the scuffle, one of the parties went home, got a hatchet, and struck a parked minibus, damaging it.

The attack with the hatchet against the other side was prevented by those who intervened. The fistfight between the two groups was also stopped before it escalated by those who intervened.
