The Kanlıgöl Waterfall in Kırşehir, which had been dry for years due to drought, has started flowing again after this year's effective rain and snowfall. The waterfall, flowing vigorously after 7 years, attracted the attention of visitors.
Kanlıgöl Waterfall, located within the borders of Hacıselimli village in the Akpınar district of Kırşehir, had completely dried up due to the drought experienced in recent years.
It was reported that water has not been seen in the waterfall, which flows between steep rock walls approximately 10 meters high, since 2019.
RAIN AND SNOWFALL REVIVED NATURE
The heavy snow and rainfall affecting the country have revived nature in Kırşehir as well. Thanks to increased precipitation and melting snow in recent months, the Kanlıgöl Waterfall has started flowing again after 7 years.
The waterfall's renewed vigorous flow delighted the local people.
“OUR WATERFALL IS FLOWING ROARINGLY”
Yıldırım Kayı, headman of Hacıselimli village, stated that the waterfall had been without water for years, saying, "There was no water here from 2019 until this year. Thanks to the abundant rainfall this year, thank God, our waterfall has regained its water and is flowing roaringly. Our visitors have started coming here."
