It is expected that there will be a 62 kuruş decrease in gasoline prices starting from midnight tonight.

While fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices continue, gasoline and diesel prices are also varying with news of discounts and price increases. Starting from midnight tonight, a reduction of 62 kuruş in gasoline prices is expected, and with this discount reflected at the pump, the price of gasoline will be 42.15 lira per liter in Istanbul and 42.67 lira in Ankara.

Citizens continue to monitor gasoline and diesel prices along with changes in Brent oil prices and currency rates.

Starting from tomorrow night, a 62 kuruş reduction in gasoline prices is expected, and with the discount reflected at the pump, gasoline will be sold for 42 lira 15 kuruş in Istanbul and 42 lira 67 kuruş in Ankara.

HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?

Fuel prices are calculated by refineries based on the average prices of refined products in the Mediterranean market, which includes Turkey, and changes in the dollar exchange rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may show slight variations due to competition and freedom among companies and cities.

EPGIS HAD DECIDED NOT TO ANNOUNCE PRICE CHANGES

After the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) filed a complaint against EPGIS, the only union that explains price changes, the union announced that it would not share fuel price changes with citizens until the legal process is concluded.
