Real Madrid, one of the giants of the EuroLeague, officially announced that they have added the 26-year-old player to their squad. According to the statement from the Spanish representative, a 2-year contract was signed with the experienced forward. Jantunen also earned the title of being the first Finnish basketball player in Real Madrid's club history.
FENERBAHÇE PERFORMANCE
Jantunen, who was one of the key rotation pieces for Fenerbahçe last season, won the Turkish League, Turkish Cup, and Presidential Cup championships with the yellow-navy team. In the EuroLeague, he played in 36 matches, averaging 19 minutes per game, and finished the season with statistics of 6.4 points and 4 rebounds.
