After the death of Yeşilçam's master actor Kadir İnanır at the age of 77, all eyes turned to actress and director Jülide Kural, with whom he had shared his life for 27 years. Kural, who never left his side during all his health issues and treatment processes, had her words about Kadir İnanır from years ago making headlines again.

Kadir İnanır, one of the master actors of Turkish cinema, passed away at the age of 77 due to multiple organ failure while being treated for pneumonia in the hospital. While the death of the master artist plunged the art world and his loved ones into mourning, his life partner since 1999, actress and director Jülide Kural, has become a subject of curiosity.

The paths of Kadir İnanır and Jülide Kural crossed on the set of the TV series \"Bütün Çocuklarım,\" in which they co-starred in 1999. The relationship that began that day continued for many years.

SHE WAS BY HIS SIDE UNTIL HIS LAST MOMENT

Jülide Kural was the biggest supporter of Kadir İnanır throughout his surgeries and intensive care treatments. Kural, who personally received information about his health condition from doctors during the hospital process, also informed the public from time to time with her statements.

Kural, who never left İnanır's side for a moment during his health problems, stood out as the closest supporter of the master actor throughout their 27-year relationship.

HER WORDS FROM YEARS AGO ARE BACK ON THE AGENDA

The expressions Jülide Kural used for Kadir İnanır in an interview she gave years ago have come back to the agenda after the master actor's death.

In her interview, Kural stated the following words:

\"Kadir İnanır is not macho at all. I do not believe a smart man can carry a macho identity. Kadir Bey is also a very smart person. There is not a hint of machismo in him. Of course, we had arguments. He had prejudices that if a woman is a feminist, she must be very masculine. Then he saw that this woman is a feminist but not masculine at all!

We mostly argue about politics or male-female relationships. Apart from these arguments, I benefit a lot from his experience. He guides me a lot as a friend. When something is wrong, I can suddenly become impulsive. He, on the other hand, is very calm. This is a lonely community. It's not a world where everyone loves each other. So there, knowing that you have a person you love and trust is very gratifying. The most fundamental thing is his reassuring presence. He is one of the 2-3 people who would come running even if I were at the other end of the world.\"

THE STORY OF HOW KADİR İNANIR AND JÜLİDE KURAL MET

Jülide Kural, a complete feminist, who was among those who believed in the \"macho\" attributions about Kadir İnanır, told their meeting story in an interview she gave years ago with the following words:

\"To be honest, I also thought he was macho at first. When I received an offer regarding the series 'Bütün Çocuklarım' and heard the name Kadir İnanır, I told the producer I wouldn't act in this series. Kadir İnanır also said no as soon as he heard my name.

The producer kept saying, 'Ms. Jülide, you must get to know Kadir İnanır. He is not the person you think he is. The real Kadir İnanır has nothing to do with the one in the movies.' Of course, he was also being insisted upon the same way. At that time, I was performing a one-person play. One evening, Kadir İnanır came to watch my play. He really liked me. He said I was an incredible, talented actor. And he agreed to act in the series. He didn't know I didn't want to. The producer hadn't told him anything. But I was very impressed that he came to watch me.

A day or two later, we all went out to dinner together. He was looking at me with admiring eyes. I was impressed by him. I saw the person in his soul. What he said that day, his criticisms, his ideas about the play surprised me. At that dinner, I announced to the producer that I agreed to act in the series.

To be honest, we are very similar to each other. We are both very meticulous. We want perfection in work. That series was already very well-loved. A macho is someone who always sees women as inferior, thinks he can apply any kind of violence, and does not value them. Kadir does not have these things. He is the first person to applaud and support my struggles for women's and human rights.\"
