In his statement to members of the press after the match, Kayserispor President Ali Çamlı said, "Selçuk Şahin, you are managing a very valuable team of a huge city. By provoking like this and inciting the Kayseri spectators, you cannot get anywhere, Selçuk Şahin. I am just telling you to get your act together and do your job. I am not saying anything else. When you are 1-0 ahead, you start provoking. What are you after?" he said.

Continuing his remarks, Ali Çamlı said, ''Here I am calling on the federation. The observer must certainly have written it down. A person can only provoke this much and attempt things outside his job.
