“TURKEY, I HOPE WE DO NOT ENTER INTO A DIRECT CONFLICT”

INSOLENT REMARKS FROM NETANYAHU, DISGRACED AT THE UN
On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after the delegations of many countries left the hall during his speech at the 81st United Nations General Assembly, made statements targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Turkey. Netanyahu claimed that Erdoğan wanted Israel’s destruction and insolently insulted Turkey over Jerusalem.
Netanyahu used the following expressions in his speech:
“Erdoğan wants Israel to be destroyed. He says almost every day that he will be the ruler of Jerusalem. No sir, you will not be. This is our country, our city, our eternal capital. Turkey and Erdoğan are the super-spreaders of antisemitic lies. No Mr. Erdoğan, you will not be the ruler of Jerusalem. It is occupying the north of Cyprus, an EU member, and targeting Greece, a NATO member. Now it also wants to seize Syria. This is not surprising because every day it calls for Israel’s destruction.”
