Following the 'absolute nullity' decision, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, appointed as the Chairman of the CHP, went to the party headquarters after 2.5 years. Greeted with carnations by party members, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "Can there be bribery in the paternal home you constantly talk about? Does the paternal home's book condone turning a blind eye to bribery and plunder in Uşak municipality, or squandering the orphan's right? Do the bags from the market in the paternal home contain forbidden money?"
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, appointed as the Chairman of the CHP following the 'absolute nullity' decision of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice, went to the party headquarters for the first time.
HE REFERRED TO EVENTS IN UŞAK MUNICIPALITY
Kılıçdaroğlu, greeted by party members gathered there with carnations, made a striking statement regarding the corruption allegations at Uşak Municipality. Kılıçdaroğlu said, 'Can there be bribery in the fatherland you constantly bring up? Does turning a blind eye to bribery and plunder, and squandering the rights of orphans appear in the book of the fatherland? Can there be illicit money in grocery bags in the fatherland?'
"THOSE WHO SAY WE ARE READY FOR A NEW PARTY..."
Stating, 'You will decide how we move forward,' Kılıçdaroğlu said, 'Let those who say we are ready for a new party if a closure happens know well that this is the party of those who adopt serving the country and the nation as a principle. No CHP member has a double agenda. CHP is the party of those who said either independence or death to the collaborators. We will cleanse ourselves, first the CHP, then Turkey will be cleansed. We will not forget the troubles of this nation either.'
