CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu instructed the Deputy Chairpersons to start provincial visits during yesterday's Central Executive Board meeting. Following Kılıçdaroğlu's directive, board members and deputies will begin fieldwork, especially in provinces where new appointments have been made. Meanwhile, for the Ordinary Congress calendar expected to start in September, membership lists will be posted on September 16.

The Central Executive Board (CEB) of the Republican People's Party (CHP) convened yesterday under the chairmanship of General Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. During the approximately three-hour meeting, the provincial leaders of Afyonkarahisar, Giresun, Trabzon, Yozgat, Burdur, Aydın, and Tekirdağ were dismissed. With these dismissals, the number of provincial leaders removed from office since Kılıçdaroğlu returned to duty via an absolute nullity decision has risen to 43. Additionally, during the CEB meeting, the appointment of 14 provincial leaders was decided. Together with the previously appointed 15 provincial leaders, a total of 29 provincial leaders have been appointed.

KILIÇDAROĞLU'S INSTRUCTION TO CEB MEMBERS

Although 43 provincial leaders have been dismissed, it is known that there are still provincial leaders currently in office who support CHP Group Leader Özgür Özel. CHP aides, stating that some provincial leaders may be dismissed in the coming days and new appointments could be made, said, "If there are places that do not recognize the will of the headquarters, they too will be removed from office."

Aides, who mentioned that a meeting of provincial leaders could be held at the end of July, stated that field visits would begin as part of efforts targeting the organizations.

According to information obtained by ANKA News Agency, Kılıçdaroğlu instructed CEB members to start provincial visits. Accordingly, CEB members and deputies will visit various provinces in the coming days, especially cities where new provincial leaders have been appointed. The visits are planned to support the new administrations and hold meetings with non-governmental organizations.

INSPECTORS WILL BE ASSIGNED TO SOME DISMISSED PROVINCES

Aides, reporting that developments in some provinces that do not recognize Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's administration after the absolute nullity decision were evaluated on the CEB agenda, stated that inspectors would be sent to provinces where party property is alleged to have been damaged or irregularities have occurred, and necessary steps would be taken after the investigations. It was noted that if the investigation determines that party property was damaged or irregular transactions were made, a criminal complaint may be filed against those responsible.

CONGRESS CALENDAR BECOMES CLEAR

Preparations continue for the Ordinary Congress process of the CHP, planned to begin in September. Aides, who said that the commission established for the Ordinary Congress is continuing its work and that they will hold the congress as quickly as the Political Parties Law allows, noted that this will take at least four months.

Aides, emphasizing that they aim to complete all preparations by the first week of September, stated that memberships will be suspended starting from September 16 and the congress process will begin.

DISCOURSE ON MEDIA EXPENDITURES CAUSES DISCOMFORT

Meanwhile, the public discussion of the CHP's expenditures on propaganda activities caused discomfort at the headquarters. Aides, stating that it is not correct to describe expenditures made within the scope of political propaganda as informal relationships, reminded that the expenditures of political parties are subject to financial audit by the Constitutional Court.

Aides, expressing that the CHP, like other political parties, receives treasury aid and allocates resources for political propaganda activities, assessed, "While it is not discussed where other parties spend treasury aid, why is the CHP being discussed? The corporate identity of the CHP should not be tarnished."
