CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu announced his party's stance on the "framework law" expected to be discussed in the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly on Monday. Stating that they will support the Terror-Free Turkey process "without hesitation," Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized that the process should not be one of division and separation, but rather a process of healing wounds, strengthening brotherhood, and reuniting as a nation.
CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu announced his party's stance regarding the "framework law" accepted in the commission. Commenting on the Terror-Free Turkey process, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that as the CHP, they would support the process "unconditionally." Emphasizing that the process should strengthen Turkey's unity and integrity, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "This process is not one of division, fragmentation, or separation; it is a process of healing wounds, strengthening brotherhood, and reuniting as a nation."
"WE WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THIS PROCESS WITHOUT HESITATION"
Kılıçdaroğlu, who made a statement on his social media account, noted that as the CHP Group, they would not only be supporters of the process but also take on responsibility.
Kılıçdaroğlu said, "We will contribute to this process without hesitation. However, we will never allow separatist global structures that try to create a new ground for internal unrest, division, and conflict in our country."
"WE WILL ACT WITH AN UNDERSTANDING THAT TAKES RESPONSIBILITY AND LEADS"
Stating that the CHP is faced with a historic responsibility, Kılıçdaroğlu said his party would take an active stance in the process carried out within the scope of the framework law accepted in the commission.
Kılıçdaroğlu said, "As the Republican People's Party Group, in line with the responsibility history has placed on our shoulders, we will act in this historic process not merely as supporters but with an understanding that takes responsibility, leads, and shows the right direction."
"THIS PROCESS IS NOT ABOUT DIVISION OR FRAGMENTATION"
Emphasizing that the main goal of the process should be to strengthen social unity rather than division in Turkey, Kılıçdaroğlu used the following statements:

"OUR UNITARY STATE STRUCTURE AND THE FIRST FOUR ARTICLES OF THE CONSTITUTION ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE"
Kılıçdaroğlu stated that Turkey's unitary state structure and the first four articles of the Constitution are non-negotiable for the CHP.
Kılıçdaroğlu said, "The Turkish nation is an inseparable whole with all its sons, all its cultures, all its languages, and all its colors. Our differences are not grounds for separation but the wealth of our common homeland."
He then stated, "What is non-negotiable for us is our unitary state structure, the first four articles of the Constitution, and the unshakable, indivisible brotherhood of our nation."
"OUR NATIONALISM IS TO UNITE THE NATION"
Kılıçdaroğlu also emphasized the CHP's understanding of nationalism and patriotism in his statement.
"Our nationalism is not to divide the nation but to unite it. Our patriotism is not to pit brother against brother but to walk shoulder to shoulder under the same flag," said Kılıçdaroğlu, stating that their goal is a Turkey that preserves its unity, has strong democracy, a solid economy, and prestige.
Kılıçdaroğlu concluded his statement with the words, "If brotherhood strengthens, Turkey strengthens. If Turkey strengthens, our nation wins. If there is unity, there is a future."
