Following the avalanche of reactions to the video, Beydilli issued a statement, apologizing and stating that the post was shared inadvertently.

Speaking at a press conference, Beydilli said, "When I noticed the inadvertently reposted content, I removed it shortly after. We value the active participation of women in all areas of social life. I sincerely apologize to the women who were hurt by this situation."

Beydilli stated that the Turkish Red Crescent is a long-established organization operating in the field of humanitarian aid with a 158-year history, and emphasized that it continues its work in line with the principle of 'impartiality,' which has been adopted since its foundation and is among the fundamental principles of the Red Crescent and Red Cross Movement. Expressing that the Turkish Red Crescent stands by those in need without any discrimination, Beydilli said that women are also one of the most important forces in the Red Crescent's volunteerism and solidarity efforts.
