A Chinese national who went out onto the streets in Istanbul late at night because his eight-month pregnant wife had a craving became the target of three muggers. The unfortunate man, stabbed in the heart and five other places on his body, narrowly escaped death; his pregnant wife, who went into shock upon hearing the tragic news, was induced into early labor. The mother, father, and baby, who fought for survival in the intensive care unit for a while, were discharged in good health after their treatment was completed.
