Following the 'absolute nullity' decision regarding CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, tensions within the party continue, and striking statements came from Onur Üregen, the lawyer of the delegates in the congress case.
"I INFORMED MR. KEMAL ABOUT THE PROCESS" Üregen, who said he visited Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu at his home, stated, 'Yesterday, we handled the re-delivery of our party through enforcement. I provided updates about the process. I conveyed whatever falls under our responsibility, including what can be done next and what the roadmap will be.'
"MR. KEMAL'S VOICE IS HOARSE" Üregen noted that Kılıçdaroğlu's health is good, only mentioning hoarseness in his voice. He said questions about whether Kılıçdaroğlu would go to the Party Headquarters today would be answered by his press advisor.
"HE WAS SADDENED BY THE EVENTS" Speaking about the incidents at the Party Headquarters, Üregen stated that Kılıçdaroğlu was saddened by what happened, adding, 'These are not pleasing for anyone, but there is nothing to be done now. We will do whatever is necessary in unity to move the party to better places in peace.'
"WE WILL WORK ON EXPULSIONS" Regarding claims that some members of parliament would be expelled, Üregen said, 'We will have work on that.'
CHP İzmir Deputy Mahir Polat CHP MEMBER POLAT ALSO EMPHASIZED EXPULSION CHP İzmir Deputy Mahir Polat, who made a statement yesterday, had also said that those who harshly criticized Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu during and after the congress process were targeted. Polat clearly stated, 'There will be those referred to disciplinary action. Those who called Mr. Kemal a traitor will have their ties with the party severed,' emphasizing that no concessions would be made and expulsion processes would be initiated.
