ARRIVED AT CAGLAYAN

After giving his statement at the prosecutor's office, Karaca was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for a judicial control measure in the form of a travel ban abroad. The judgeship decided to impose a travel ban abroad on Karaca in line with the request. After the procedures were completed, Karaca left the courthouse.
"MY SONG IS A WORK OF ART"
In his statement to the prosecutor's office, Karaca stated that the lyrics and music of the song "Ha Leylim" belong to him.
In his statement, Karaca said the following:
"The lyrics and music of the published song 'Ha Leylim' belong to me. No one else has made any contribution. I wrote the song in question about two years ago. I wanted to express love in the song. I prepared the storyline that forms the subject of the video clip with director Sinan Tuncay."
Also touching on the concept of the video clip, Karaca stated that they wanted to depict Thracian weddings because the song is upbeat.
Karaca said, "The YouTube account with the username 'mabelmatiz' in question belongs to me, and I published the related video from my account. Apart from the two of us, no one else contributed to the creation of the video clip shooting. I am also the producer of the song. My song is a work of art."
"THERE IS NO SCENE RELATED TO OBSCENITY IN THE VIDEO CLIP"
Karaca did not accept the accusations, arguing that there was no element of obscenity in the video clip.
In his statement to the prosecutor's office, Karaca stated that the scene of two men looking at each other and dancing face-to-face in the video clip cannot be considered within the scope of the crime of obscenity and said, "There is no scene, image, or reference related to obscenity in the video clip."
In the continuation of his statement, Karaca made the following assessment:
"The image of two men looking at each other in the video clip, regardless of the nature of the relationship between them, does not constitute the crime of obscenity. Two people looking at each other and dancing face-to-face is not a crime."
"I THINK IT IS UNFAIR TO BE FORCED TO EXPLAIN MY WORKS"
Karaca stated that his works may be open to different interpretations, but this should not be evaluated as an element of crime, and said that art can contain different meanings by its very nature.
In his statement, Karaca included the following words:
"They may be looking at each other with love, or with hatred, or with resentment. All these are within the subject of cinema, art, and literature and should not be blamed."
Stating that he does not accept the systematic extraction of criminal meanings from his previous works either, Karaca said, "I think it is unfair that I am constantly forced to explain my works."
Also questioning whether similar investigations would be opened if other artists produced similar works, Karaca said, "I sincerely and humbly question within myself whether an investigation would be opened and whether the same comments would be made if the same works were done by another artist."
At the end of his statement to the prosecutor's office, Karaca stated that he did not accept the accusations against him.
