"YOU CANNOT BE WEAK AGAINST PUTIN"
Macron said, "You cannot be weak against Putin. That is not your style, nor is it in your interest. If you appear weak against Putin, how can you be reliable against China?"
Macron clarified the issue of sending troops to Ukraine, emphasizing that it is not on the agenda in the short term but is not completely ruled out. He stated, "I have not decided to send troops to Ukraine at this time," adding that the deployment of a peacekeeping force could be considered to help establish peace once the war is over.
"WE ARE ENTERING A NEW ERA"
Pointing out that Europe needs to take a more active role in security policies, Macron said, "We are entering a new era. This requires us to reassess our defense budget and national priorities." He stated that European countries need to increase their war efforts and strengthen their national resilience, also bringing up the idea of launching special savings products or national donation campaigns to finance the defense budget.

Macron emphasized that Zelensky came to power through a democratic election, stating, "This does not apply to Vladimir Putin, who kills his opponents and has been manipulating elections for a long time."
