Following the Provincial Leaders Meeting held at CHP Headquarters, the 81 provincial leaders shared a joint written statement. In the declaration, which emphasized the party's history and responsibility, attention was drawn to the struggle to be carried out by going into the field across Turkey.
"PEOPLE COME AND GO, CHP REMAINS"
The statement underlined that CHP is not an ordinary political party but a great trust of the nation, and included the following expressions:
"We do not see any political debate as greater than CHP's history, nor any individual as greater than CHP. People come and go, the Republican People's Party remains. Cadres change, CHP's struggle continues. Eras change, CHP's responsibility towards Turkey does not change."
"WE DO NOT SEE THE STATE AS A SPOIL OF POWER"
In the declaration, which emphasized that merit, law, and public ethics should be fundamental in state administration, it was stated that Turkey's need is not new conflicts but justice, trust, and clean politics. The leaders, stating that as 81 provincial leaders they are an organization that lives among the people rather than waiting in party buildings, noted that they will stand by citizens from retirees to workers, from farmers to youth.
EMPHASIS ON "WE ARE SETTING OUT AGAIN"
Referring to Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's expression "safe harbor," the statement said:
"A safe harbor is not waiting forever; it is gathering strength and setting out again. Today, we openly tell our Chairman, Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: We are not here merely to stand by during difficult days, but to build Turkey's future together. Our loyalty is not to individuals; it is to CHP's history, its institutional identity, the Republic, and Turkey's future."
The statement concluded with the message: "The Republican People's Party is not ownerless. It is here with its 81 provincial organizations. It is here with Atatürk's legacy; with its commitment to the Republic, democracy, law, and the people. And now it is setting out again."
