CONFLICTS CONTINUE IN YEMEN

Yemen has been struggling with civil war and political instability for many years after the Iran-backed Houthis seized control of the capital Sanaa and some governorates in September 2014.

The Saudi-led coalition has supported the internationally recognized Yemeni government since March 2015.

The latest attack has again increased concerns about the security situation in the country.
