The death of 24-year-old teacher Irmak Ayşe Koparan, found dead in her home in Ağrı, has plunged Turkey into mourning, while allegations behind the incident continue to emerge. The school principal, detained after the event, was released but suspended from duty. Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, speaking about Teacher Irmak's death, said, "No mercy will be shown to whoever is guilty."

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, regarding the death of teacher Irmak Ayşe Koparan, who was found dead in her home in Ağrı, stated: 'An investigation has been launched. We must act without heeding the comments made by newspapers and people who are unaware of the details. After all, with every word we say, we might be tarnishing innocent people. Therefore, as the ministry, we prefer to speak cautiously. Our inspection board has initiated the necessary process in coordination with both judicial authorities and the police. At the end, whoever is guilty, if there is a colleague with negligence... Regardless of who it is, the necessary action will be taken without regard to who they are.'
