The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) shared the photograph of its member Arif Necip Kaskatı, who undertook important duties against activities detrimental to Turkey in Bulgaria between 1931 and 1950.

A new image has been added to the "Photographs" section under the "Special Collection" tab on MİT's official website.
The image is a photograph of Arif Necip Kaskatı, born in Razgrad in 1901, who served as a member of the National Security Service (MAH), the predecessor of MİT.
Next to the photograph, the following information about Kaskatı's life was provided:
"Born in Razgrad in 1901, Arif Necip Kaskatı carried out significant duties within MAH regarding activities against Turkey in Bulgaria from 1931 until his martyrdom in 1950. Serving as the Thrace correspondent for many Istanbul newspapers, speaking Bulgarian fluently, and known among Turkish kin in Bulgaria by the nickname 'Mr. Hristo,' Kaskatı was recognized for his strong character and patriotism during his service. He was martyred in June 1950 while trying to cross the Bulgarian border into Edirne, due to an ambush set up by Bulgarians on his vehicle, caused by a Bulgarian agent believed to have been working double. May his soul rest in peace."
