The US-Iran war and the escalating tension in the Strait of Hormuz continue to increase the price of Brent crude oil and the ton prices of gasoline and diesel in global markets.
Brent crude oil is trading at $85. The metric ton price of diesel in global markets is also at $1,180. This price was at $950 on July 8, $1,000 on July 13, and $1,135 on July 16.

Last week, diesel prices were raised three times. This week, the series of hikes continued. Today, diesel increased by 3.12 TL and gasoline by 1.14 TL. The continued rise in diesel prices in global markets will bring further hikes to the agenda.
