Motor fuel SCT adjustment in Official Gazette: Zeroed until end of August

The Presidential Decree regarding the re-determination of Special Consumption Tax (SCT) amounts for diesel-type fuel products has been published in the Official Gazette. With the decree, the SCT on diesel will be zeroed until August 31, and will be gradually increased starting from September. As of January 1, 2027, an SCT of 13.9006 TL per liter will be applied.

The decision regarding the gradual re-determination of Special Consumption Tax (SCT) amounts applied to diesel-type fuel products was published in the Official Gazette.

ZEROED UNTIL THE END OF AUGUST

According to the decision published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the SCT amount for diesel-type goods will be applied as 0 TL per liter between August 13-31, 2026.

WILL INCREASE GRADUALLY

Within the scope of the determined calendar, SCT amounts will be gradually increased per liter as 3 TL in September, 6 TL in October, 9 TL in November, and 12 TL in December.

As of January 1, 2027, the SCT amount will be applied as 13.9006 TL.
