The U.S. administration has dispatched Patriot missiles, which Israel did not use, to Ukraine. Initially, the U.S. was hesitant to respond positively to Ukraine's request due to concerns about Russia's reaction, but with Israel's approval, the missiles were sent to Kyiv.
According to Israeli media, the US is sending Patriot missiles from Israel to Ukraine.
US DID NOT APPROACH POSITIVELY, NETANYAHU GAVE APPROVAL
The Walla news site reported that the Israeli Air Force decommissioned the Patriot air defense systems in the country in April 2024. Following this, it was stated that the Kiev administration contacted Washington regarding the transfer of Patriot missiles from Israel to Ukraine. It was expressed that the US opposed this idea for months due to concerns that Russia would react to this step, but Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu approved this move in September 2024.
90 PATRIOT MISSILES WERE SENT TO POLAND
After Tel Aviv also gave the green light, it was noted that the US took action to send the Patriot missiles from Israel to Ukraine. In this context, it was reported that a cargo plane belonging to the US military recently transported approximately 90 Patriot missiles from Israel to Poland. It was stated that these missiles would be used in the Patriot batteries in Ukraine.
