Murat Dalkılıç, who underwent 13 surgeries due to a nasal condition, shared his health status after his latest operation. Speaking before his concert in Cyprus, the singer revealed that he contracted an infection during a past surgery and remained in a coma for days due to complications he experienced.
Murat Dalkılıç has left behind his 13th operation in the health struggle he has been fighting for years. The famous singer, who has undergone surgeries since childhood due to a nasal condition, said he felt better after the latest operation.
Dalkılıç, who answered questions from the press before his Cyprus concert, said about the improvement in his health, “I feel good now, that's the most important thing. Apart from that, I think the problem will gradually be resolved.”
RELIEVED AFTER THE 13TH OPERATION
Dalkılıç, who has undergone various operations over the years, had different methods applied during his treatment over time. The singer, who used a medical prosthesis after his natural cartilage tissue proved insufficient, reached a positive point in his treatment after the 13th operation.
Emphasizing that the process he experienced was not merely an aesthetic change, Dalkılıç explained that his health issues had been challenging him for years.
CAUGHT AN INFECTION DURING SURGERY
Dalkılıç stated that he caught an infection during one of his past operations, and said this condition repeatedly brought him back to the operating table.
The singer described his difficult process with these words: “That infection laid me on the operating table over and over again. I had two lung surgeries, each 11 hours long, and I was in a coma.”
Dalkılıç, who experienced serious health problems due to the infection, also faced life-threatening risks during his treatment. The singer, who remained in the hospital for a long time due to complications, said this period was one of the hardest processes in his life.
“THE DOCTORS WEREN'T GIVING ANY CHANCE”
Dalkılıç stated that during some periods of his years-long treatment, even the doctors did not expect a positive outcome. Describing his experience, the singer said, “It was never going to be resolved, the doctors weren't giving any chance, even reaching this point is a miracle.”
Dalkılıç, who also changed his lifestyle during the treatment process, stated that he removed gluten and sugar from his life in addition to alcohol and cigarettes.
Murat Dalkılıç, who has experienced a positive development in his health after the 13th operation, continues his stage work despite all this difficult process.
