In an incident in the Vize district of Kırklareli, 52-year-old Ayten Öztürk, who went to the village to visit her mother, lost her life after being attacked with a knife by her nephew.
CAUSE STILL UNKNOWN
The incident occurred in the village of Küçükyayla, affiliated with the Vize district. According to the information obtained, Ayten Öztürk came face to face with her nephew B.S. during her visit to her mother for an as-yet-unknown reason. Allegedly, B.S. wounded his aunt Ayten Öztürk with a knife.
DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
Medical teams were dispatched to the scene for the severely injured Ayten Öztürk. After initial treatment, Öztürk was taken to Vize State Hospital by ambulance. Despite all interventions by doctors, the 52-year-old woman could not be saved and died.
SUSPECT DETAINED
The suspect B.S., who fled after the incident, was caught and taken into custody as a result of the efforts of the District Gendarmerie Command teams. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
