In Istanbul's Bağcılar district, Hüseyin Yalçın, owner of a home textile store who could not be reached since morning hours, was found dead in the trunk of his parked car near a shopping mall. After breaking the window of the locked vehicle and encountering the horrifying scene, police launched a large-scale investigation into the incident.
WHEN HE DIDN'T COME TO WORK IN THE MORNING, HIS EMPLOYEES TOOK ACTION
The incident occurred on 2660 Street in Bağcılar Mahmutbey Neighborhood. Hüseyin Yalçın, owner of a home textile store located in a shopping mall, did not open his workplace in the morning. Suspecting something was wrong and unable to reach Yalçın by phone, store employees began searching for him. During the search, an employee noticed Yalçın's luxury car parked on a street right next to the mall.
THEY BROKE THE WINDOW AND WENT INSIDE: HE WAS LYING MOTIONLESS IN THE TRUNK
When his colleagues approached the vehicle and looked inside through the window, they saw Hüseyin Yalçın lying in the trunk area of the car. Unable to get a response by knocking on the doors and windows, the employees immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Unable to intervene in the car due to the locked doors, the teams broke the vehicle's window and entered. When the medical teams opened the trunk and conducted initial checks, it was determined that the unfortunate man had lost his life. Upon receiving the tragic news, his colleagues and relatives who arrived at the scene broke down in tears.
LARGE-SCALE INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH
Units from the Public Order Branch Directorate and Crime Scene Investigation teams conducted detailed examinations inside the locked vehicle and on Hüseyin Yalçın's lifeless body. Yalçın's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death (possibilities of murder, suicide, or poisoning are being considered). It was reported that police have begun reviewing security cameras in the area.
