Nagehan Alçı, the former wife of Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı who was arrested as part of an illegal gambling investigation, vehemently denied claims that money was sent to her. Alçı stated that her earnings over the years were managed by Kütahyalı, saying, 'My 15-20 years of labor was wasted.' She noted that she could not receive alimony payments and added, 'Rasim owes me a lot.'
Journalist Nagehan Alçı broke her silence regarding the allegation that "she sent money to Nagehan Alçı" in connection with Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, who was arrested as part of an illegal betting investigation. Speaking on her own YouTube channel, Alçı stated that the news about her does not reflect the truth.
"HE DIDN'T SEND ME MONEY, I COULDN'T EVEN GET ALIMONY"
Nagehan Alçı said, "After the divorce, we used a joint account for two years. Without my knowledge, he sent 100,000, 100,000, and 850,000 lira to this joint account on the same day. A few minutes later, he transferred the same amounts to his personal account."
Reacting to the news article in Sözcü newspaper titled "Arrested ROK was questioned about the money he sent to Nagehan Alçı," Alçı stated that she received no financial support from him. Alçı, noting that even the alimony ordered for her children was not paid, said, "Forget sending me money, I couldn't even get the alimony from Rasim. I couldn't get my children's alimony."
"HE TOOK MY SALARIES SAYING 'I WILL MANAGE IT'"
Making striking statements about the financial arrangement during the marriage, Alçı explained that all her income was managed through joint accounts. "Call it my foolishness, I didn't deal with money matters," said Alçı, stating that her salaries were taken by Kütahyalı.
Alçı said, "Rasim took my salary saying 'I will manage it.' We had joint accounts. During the divorce, he said debts needed to be paid off."
"269 THOUSAND LIRA DIDN'T REACH ME"
Also providing explanations about the money transfers discussed in public, Alçı argued that the 269 thousand lira in question did not belong to her. Claiming that the money was used to cover Kütahyalı's own debts, Alçı said, "Not a single lira of the 269 thousand lira came to me."
"HE SAID 'I AM A FINANCIAL GENIUS'"
Touching on Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı's financial dealings, Alçı said her ex-husband used numerous credit cards. Noting that Kütahyalı described himself as a "financial genius," Alçı drew attention with her words, "I don't know what kind of genius."
"MY 15-20 YEARS OF EFFORT DISAPPEARED"
Warning about joint account usage, Alçı addressed women, especially those going through divorce, after her experiences. Saying that the savings she earned through years of work were lost, Alçı stated, "I don't know where the money in the joint account went."
"I HAVE MANY CLAIMS AGAINST RASIM"
Speaking cautiously about her ex-husband, Alçı said, "I don't want to speak ill of someone who has fallen." Expressing her hope that the accusations against him are not true for the sake of her children, Alçı concluded her statement with the words, "I have many claims against Rasim."
