NATO Chief Praises Turkey's Role İn Fight Against Daesh

The NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has praised Turkey's role in the fight against Daesh terrorist group Monday 



"Turkey is playing an important role in the fight against ISIL (Daesh) and extremism in Iraq and Syria," he said, addressing the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee and Sub-Committee on Security and Defence in Brussels.



"Turkey is the ally most affected by the crisis in Syria and Iraq", Stoltenberg added, pointing out that Turkey has received hundreds of thousands of refugees. 



On Monday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan denounced, in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, reports alleging that Turkey was cooperating with organizations such as Daesh.. - Ankara
