Soner Olgun’s ex-wife Özlem Koldaş argued that during the artist’s treatment process, changes in some of his health data were not sufficiently investigated, and requested that the negligence claim be examined.
Özlem Koldaş, the ex-wife of artist Soner Olgun, who passed away at the age of 67 on October 16, made assessments regarding Olgun's treatment process on a television program she appeared on. Koldaş stated that she thought changes in some health data had not been sufficiently investigated and requested that the process be examined.
“WE LOST A LOT OF TIME”
Koldaş claimed that Olgun's blood sugar levels had risen seriously in a short time, that he had been given insulin, but that the underlying reason for this change had not been investigated. Saying that as a result of her own research into the treatment process she had concluded there may have been doctor negligence, Koldaş said, “We lost a lot of time.”
“AT THE SURGERY STAGE, THE DISEASE WAS ALREADY AT AN ADVANCED STAGE”
According to Koldaş's account, at the surgery stage it was determined that the disease had spread to distant areas and that the cancer was at stage four. Stating that Olgun had undergone chemotherapy for about a year and a half and went through a severe treatment process, Koldaş requested that it be investigated how the process might have progressed if different examinations had been carried out at an early stage.
