A 59-year-old woman lost her life and one person was injured in a fight between neighbors over noise in the Eğirdir district of Isparta. An investigation has been launched into the suspect taken into custody regarding the incident.

ATTACKED WITH A KNIFE DURING THE ARGUMENT

The incident occurred last night at midnight on Çakırlar Street in Hamam Neighborhood. According to claims, a verbal argument between neighbors living on the same street over noise quickly escalated. During the fight, one party attacked with a knife. After citizens reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

SERIOUSLY INJURED WOMAN DIES

Those injured in the incident, Ç.Ç. (38) and Yüksel Uçar (59), were taken to Eğirdir State Hospital by ambulance after initial treatment. Among the injured, Yüksel Uçar could not be saved despite all medical interventions and died. Severely injured Ç.Ç., who was transferred to Isparta City Hospital for advanced treatment, was reported to be in stable condition.

ATTACKER IN CUSTODY

Police teams launched an investigation into the incident and took the suspect N.Y. (20) into custody at the scene. It was learned that the suspect was a neighbor of the injured individuals and the incident is believed to have occurred as a result of the argument over noise escalating.
