Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has added another statement to his remarks directly targeting Turkey over Syria. Netanyahu, who said he is disturbed by Turkey's relations with Syria, claimed that he has conveyed this situation to Ankara through various channels. Additionally, Netanyahu said, 'I do not want Turkey to advance southward.'
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been continuing attacks on Syria for days, made new statements against Turkey.
Netanyahu, who has recently intensified his aggressive stance towards different countries due to the upcoming elections in Israel, claimed that he sent a message to Turkey.
"I DON'T WANT TURKEY TO ADVANCE"
Netanyahu, who tried to justify the attacks on Syria by saying, "I decided to create a 'security zone' in Syria against the possibility of a jihadist invasion," used the following expressions: "In the north of Syria, there is Turkey; it has a certain area there. I don't want Turkey to advance towards the south."
"I ALSO CONVEYED IT TO THE TURKS"
On the other hand, Netanyahu, who claimed that he sent messages to the Ankara and Damascus administrations through various channels, continued his words as follows:
"I also conveyed it to the Turks. There was a status quo, but they disrupted it or aimed to disrupt it. I sent a message through the Americans, through other channels, and directly to Syria as well. We will not tolerate Turkey's military establishment at an airbase. Apparently, this message was not received, and we had to demonstrate it with military intervention."
