In the incident where police officer M.G. killed his wife Fatma Gıyar and their two daughters, aged 10 and 4, with his service pistol in Antalya, the bodies of the deceased mother and children were taken to Çankırı. It was learned that M.G. had previously been caught in an earthquake while serving in Diyarbakır and sent his family to Antalya after rescuing them from the rubble. FOUND SITTING
The incident occurred yesterday around 16:30 in the first floor of a two-story building on 1964 Street in the Varsak Demirel neighborhood of the Kepez district. According to the information obtained, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the address following a report of a gunshot injury received by the 112 Emergency Call Center. At the entrance of the apartment, police officer M.G., who was on annual leave and was serving at the Antalya Police Department Varsak Police Station, was found sitting by the teams.
WIFE AND DAUGHTERS FOUND MOTIONLESS
While M.G.'s service pistol was taken by his colleagues, the teams that entered the apartment found M.G.'s wife Fatma Gıyar (31) in the living room and the couple's daughters Meral Ebrar Gıyar (10) and Merve Gıyar (4) motionless. In the examination conducted by the 112 Emergency Health teams, it was determined that the mother and two children had lost their lives.
DELIVERED TO RELATIVES
Upon the notification, the Antalya Police Department's Public Order Branch Homicide Bureau and Crime Scene Investigation teams were dispatched to the scene. After the prosecutor's office and crime scene teams completed their investigations in the apartment, the lifeless bodies of the mother and children were taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution morgue. Today, relatives who came to the morgue received the bodies of Fatma Gıyar and her children to take them to their hometown, Çankırı, for burial. The grief of the relatives in front of the morgue drew attention.
