A long-standing pasture feud between the Alabayır and Kolsatan neighborhoods in Tuşba district turned into a bloody confrontation at the animal market. A verbal argument that started between the parties at the market in the morning hours quickly escalated into a fight involving stones, clubs, and guns.

Following the death of a citizen in the brawl, extensive security measures were taken in front of hospitals and at the market area. Due to the heat of the incident, authorities announced the closure of the animal market to prevent a second clash and evacuated the area.
