U.S. President Donald Trump said he is "seriously" considering making Venezuela the 51st state of the United States.
"VENEZUELA LOVES TRUMP"
In a phone interview with American Fox News reporter John Roberts, Trump shared his views on Venezuela, stating that he is "seriously" considering making Venezuela the 51st state of the U.S., adding, "Venezuela loves Trump."
Trump pointed out that there is "40 trillion dollars" worth of oil in Venezuela, emphasizing that this country's resources are very important for the United States.
HE MADE AN OIL DEAL AFTER KIDNAPPING MADURO
After Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was taken from his home in Caracas to the U.S. on January 2, Trump made an oil deal with the country, stating in his explanations that he "got along well" with Acting President Delcy Rodriguez.
In his previous statements, U.S. President Trump had also expressed the view that he wanted to make Venezuela a state tied to the United States.
