MORE THAN 160 AIRCRAFT DEPLOYED
The US, in collaboration with Israel, has deployed more than 160 military refueling aircraft in the regions of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and European Command (EUCOM) in the second week of its attacks on Iran.
According to the information obtained, 17 KC-46A "Pegasus" and 62 KC-135 "Stratotanker" aircraft have been deployed at airports under CENTCOM control near the operational area, as well as at the joint base of the UK and the US, Diego Garcia Base. It has been determined that more than 40 of these are located at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel.
Additionally, approximately 36 KC-135 and 1 KC-46A aircraft have been deployed to bases in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean. These aircraft are believed to likely refuel planes coming from the UK.
US AIRCRAFT USING UK BASE
After the UK opened its bases for US use, numerous US bombers began using RAF Fairford Base in the UK for attacks on Iran.
15 KC-46A and 33 KC-135 refueling aircraft have been deployed in the UK, at Lajes Air Base in Portugal, and at bases in Northern Europe.
CLAIM OF "2,500 MARINES TO BE SENT"
On the other hand, it has been claimed that the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) will send a reconnaissance unit consisting of about 2,500 Marines to the Middle East.
Officials stated that the request came from the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and provided information that the Marine unit consists of approximately 2,500 personnel.
