A service driver in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, lost his life in an accident that occurred while he was trying to repair his broken-down vehicle.
HE WENT UNDER THE VEHICLE, A TRAGEDY OCCURRED
The incident took place on Abay Street. According to information obtained, when the service vehicle with license plate 34 KYP 237 broke down, the driver O.Y. (52) pulled his vehicle over to the side of the road. While trying to fix the problem by going under the vehicle, the driver unexpectedly encountered a great danger.
THE VEHICLE MOVED, HE WAS TRAPPED UNDERNEATH
During the repair, the vehicle suddenly moved. O.Y., who was trapped under the vehicle, was dragged for meters. Upon notification by witnesses of the incident, medical teams were dispatched to the area.
HE LOST HIS LIFE AT THE HOSPITAL
The seriously injured driver was taken to the hospital after the initial intervention by medical teams at the scene. However, despite all interventions, he could not be saved.
