The world is closely following Iran, as the US-Israel war has entered its 10th day. While the anxious wait continues, a new statement has come from Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Bakayi. Responding to reports last week about Iranian munitions being launched towards Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Southern Cyprus, Bakayi said, "We have repeatedly warned that the enemy (Israel-US) may carry out some attacks to sow discord between us and other countries."
The world is closely monitoring the tension caused by the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran. As the conflict, which continues with mutual missile strikes and attacks, enters its 9th day, the death toll on the Iranian side has risen to 1,230 and the number of injured to 1,473 in 10 days. The USA has announced that it has lost 7 soldiers so far.
IRAN'S NUCLEAR FACILITIES IN THE CROSSHAIRS
One of the important facilities in Isfahan, Iran, has become a target of the US and Israeli attacks. According to information reported by the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), the National Nuclear Security Center announced that "serious damage occurred at a radiation facility in Isfahan due to US-Israeli attacks."
TRUMP'S STATEMENT
Former US President Donald Trump argued that the person who will succeed Iranian religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei must receive approval from the USA. Trump stated, "If he doesn't get our approval, he won't be able to stay in office for long. We don't want to have to come back every 10 years."
NEW TURKEY OUTLOOK FROM IRAN
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baghaei responded last week to allegations that Iranian munitions were launched towards Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Southern Cyprus. Baghaei stated that "no attack has been initiated from Iranian territory," warning that the enemy may engage in actions that could create tension between Iran and other countries.
"OUR DEFENSIVE ACTION..."
Baghaei emphasized that since the start of the war, they are "determined to maintain good and friendly relations" with the countries in the region targeted by Iranian missiles and drones, but they have the "right to self-defense" if the territories of other countries are used for attacks against Iran. The spokesman stated, "Our defensive action cannot be interpreted as an act of hostility against any of these countries."
