A young woman in Izmir was beaten by her husband in the middle of the street. Trembling with fear, the woman crouched down and cried out for help, asking if anyone was there. However, the passersby simply watched the incident unfold.

A woman in Bornova district of Izmir was beaten in the middle of the street by a man who was identified as her husband.

The incident took place on the evening of August 27th in Camkule neighborhood of Bornova district. While a woman was being beaten by her husband in the middle of the street, it was recorded by a citizen with a mobile phone camera. The woman, who crouched down on the ground to protect herself from her husband's slaps, pleaded for help in fear.

After the footage emerged, the attacker husband was taken into custody by the police.
