Search efforts, in which 550 security cameras were reviewed but no trace of him was found, have concentrated around the stream in Şipali Neighborhood with the support of specially trained dogs and drones. Search efforts for Emrah Gedik (33), who has been missing for 6 days in the İnegöl district of BURSA, are continuing with specially trained dogs and a drone. While 550 security cameras are being reviewed, the efforts have concentrated around the stream.

HE LEFT HIS HOME ON THE EVENING OF OCTOBER 25

Emrah Gedik left his home in Mahmudiye Neighborhood on October 25 at around 20:00, and his family has not heard from him since. At the family's request, a 15-person team from the İnegöl Natural Disasters Search and Rescue Association conducted a search along the stream by the ring road up to the Ankara road. The teams carefully scanned the stream bed and its surroundings but found no trace of Gedik during the efforts. The search efforts for Emrah Gedik, whose images were captured by the security cameras of two separate businesses in Mesudiye Neighborhood at around 21:00 on the day he disappeared, have concentrated around the stream in Şipali Neighborhood. Drone and specially trained dogs are also being used in the efforts, which are being carried out under AFAD coordination by gendarmerie, police, İNDAK, and İHH teams. While footage from 550 security cameras is being reviewed, no trace of Gedik has been found so far.

HIS FAMILY'S ANXIOUS WAIT CONTINUES

Emrah Gedik's family, who are worried about his health condition—reportedly he was receiving psychological treatment and was not taking his medication—are waiting for good news from the search efforts. Gedik's uncle Elvan Gedik said, "Emrah is wandering around the neighborhoods. The police chief, the district governor, and the gendarmerie commander got involved, but our searches have been continuing for 6 nights. We have not reached any result. İNDAK, AFAD, and İnegöl İHH are continuing their efforts, but there is no result; we have not reached any conclusion. Our brother has been missing for 6 nights, and we cannot reach him. We do not know which way he went. Right now our hands are tied, and we continue to wait."

Elvan Gedik, noting that security cameras were being reviewed but that the lack of cameras on some streets was making the efforts more difficult, said, "The cameras were reviewed. When entering the side streets, the process took this long because there were no camera recordings on some streets. 550 cameras were reviewed. Our police teams tried very hard; they put their lives on the line. It was our police colleagues who worked the most, but we somehow could not reach a result."

THE POSSIBILITY THAT HE MAY HAVE LEFT THE CITY IS ALSO BEING EVALUATED

His uncle, stating that it has not yet been determined which direction Emrah Gedik went, noted that the possibility of his having left the city is also being evaluated. Elvan Gedik said, "We still do not know which direction he headed or whether he left the city. All search and rescue teams are currently continuing their efforts. Our target is not clear because our direction is not clear. Our searches are continuing only on the basis of possibilities."
