On the day of the incident, it was stated in the decision that Semih Çelik brutally killed Ayşenur Halil by cutting her throat in her bed, and after staying at home for 3 hours, he changed his clothes and went to the walls. During this time, İkbal Uzuner went to the front of the walls and waited for Semih for a while. Semih went up to the walls where the incident took place, İkbal saw Semih who was on the walls, waved at him, and spoke to him on the phone. Then, she went to Semih and climbed up to the walls, where they met, and Semih brutally murdered İkbal by cutting her body parts in an orderly manner.

IT WAS STATED THAT THEY DID NOT RESIST SEMIH

In the decision, it was noted that no disorder was found during the examination of the house, that no DNA belonging to Semih Çelik was detected under the nails of the two young girls, and that no one was found who heard İkbal Uzuner screaming while she was on the walls. For these reasons, no evidence was obtained that the two young women resisted Semih Çelik. Furthermore, it was stated in the decision that according to the digital materials obtained, İkbal Uzuner had previously attempted to strangle herself with a rope, sent these images to Semih Çelik, and sent photos of cuts on her chest and other parts of her body along with obscene images, while Semih Çelik sent her drawings of female figures with heads and legs cut off, similar to these images.

In the decision, it was also stated that no third person who assisted Semih Çelik was identified, and no evidence was obtained regarding the satanic mindset that was thought to have directed these actions, nor any evidence related to applications such as Discord (incels) or Telegram.

In the decision, which also included the statement of İkbal Uzuner's father, it was mentioned that his daughter was friends with Semih, who attended the same school, and that Semih had platonic feelings for her, sending her numerous images and videos containing satanic expressions. Following this, his daughter changed schools, and due to the pandemic, she did not report the threats made by this person. After a while, Semih manipulated his daughter's mind, and during the February 6 earthquake, she ran away from home to go to him. They did not file a missing person report regarding this situation, and they took her phone from her due to her running away from home. About 6 months after the February 6 earthquake, his daughter ran away from home again, and they filed a missing person report regarding this matter. It was noted that his daughter was found sitting on the Edirnekapı Martyrdom Bridge, and they took her to a psychologist. After a while, they got her a cat, which she said improved her psychology.

HE WAS USING DRUGS WHILE WORKING IN A BUTCHER SHOP

In the decision, according to Semih Çelik's father's statement, it was mentioned that Semih was a religious person until he turned 16, prayed, and after the pandemic, stated that he was a deist. It was noted that he was taken out of school after saying he would not study while in high school, graduated from open high school, and that Semih was prescribed psychological medications about three years ago, but he did not use these medications. His father stated that his son wanted to be a butcher, started working in a butcher shop, began using drugs two years ago, and had not used drugs for about three months due to not having money for drugs. He occasionally brought home alcohol like wine and beer. About a year ago, when he entered his son's room, he saw drawings resembling a devil that frighten human psychology, and when he asked his son about this situation, he said, "Our thought processes are different," and did not provide any further explanation.
