Fenerbahçe announced that it has made an official application to the EuroLeague and will follow the process, citing the grievances of its fans due to ticketing and organizational issues at the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four.
Fenerbahçe Club announced that it has taken official steps regarding the ticketing and organizational issues experienced during the Basketball EuroLeague Final Four held in Athens, the capital of Greece, on May 22-24.
STATEMENT FROM FENERBAHÇE
In the statement on the club's website, it was said: "Official steps have been taken with the EuroLeague regarding the serious ticketing and organizational problems, especially before and during the semi-final match, within the scope of the EuroLeague Final Four organization held in Athens. In the application; the grievances experienced by our fans, operational issues in ticketing processes, serious disruptions in seating arrangements, and management deficiencies during the organization process have been recorded in detail."
The statement emphasizing that the process will be followed up included the following expressions:
"All our objections and evaluations regarding this unacceptable process, which directly affects our fans, as well as the families of our athletes and technical team, have been officially shared with the EuroLeague; our expectation for a comprehensive explanation and concrete feedback regarding the issues experienced has been clearly communicated to them. As Fenerbahçe Club, we inform the public that we will follow up on the process to protect our fans' rights, ensure equality and transparency in organizational processes, and prevent similar grievances from recurring."
